Wedding Policy Statement

Dear prospective bride and groom,

Congratulations on your engagement! Thank you for your interest in our church for your wedding. Our church brings to you our very best wishes for your happiness in these days of anticipation and preparation. Both members and non-members are welcome to be married by the Pastor.

The Pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ shall officiate at all weddings at our church building and grounds. Other clergy may be invited to participate at the discretion of the Pastor. Three required wedding preparations meetings will be scheduled with the Pastor three months before the wedding.

All checks must be given to the Pastor by the night of the wedding rehearsal.

Church building fees include the usage of the Sanctuary for rehearsal and four hours on your wedding day, the narthex for a receiving line, and two rooms for gathering and set-up. Please call the Pastor with any questions. Thank you again for your interest in being married here.
